“ Vibey, but not at all pretentious cocktail bar in West Village that I'd say is actually kind of rare to kind in the city. Drinks are pricey, but well made. If you can get in without a wait, it's worth a stop. Especially if you are a little hungry because the the bar snacks are very good - get the nori fries! ”

“ Great vibes for catching up with friends! Felt like a laidback cocktail bar/ nicer dive bar. We loved the Shiso Gin & Tonic, and the Panda Fizz as fun, sweet cocktails. The Best Friends and Toki Highball were on the stronger side but also good. Servers were attentive to filling water glasses and grabbing new orders, but we didn't feel rushed or pressured to order more. As for small bites, we loved the Nori Fries. Karaage calamari was crispy and delicious too, but the servings were pretty small. The grilled cheese was a flavor bomb but also on the smaller side. I'd definitely come back here to catch up with friends over fun drinks. Six drinks and three dishes ran us about $200. ”

“ Cool Japanese dive bar. The December 2024 holiday drink special Azuki Horchata was a very unique and interesting cocktail, definitely worth a try! Drinks came rather slow, but water was refilled diligently. ”

“ A bar that oozes vibes and charm. Blasted music from the moment you walk in at a level that you can just barely talk with your party. Upstairs and downstairs are start differences- the upstairs a swanky (if modern) bar setting with dim lighting and lots of wooden overtones, downstairs a fluorescent, sticky, college bar with a basketball hoop on one of the doors. Relatively slow service, and didn't get told to chew on the kinome leaves when given the Meguroni #3 (which is a major part of the drink, the leaves cause a numbing sensation similar to Szechuan peppercorns). Drinks themselves were fantastic, and priced reasonably for what you get. Panda fizz was bright, creamy, and complex, had a great texture. The Mrguroni # 3 was extremely spirit forward, but smelled just like a nice glass of tea. The kinome leaves were a lovely addition, and totally changed the flavor and of the drink once used. ”

“ Very cool, unique bar with a retro, Japanese vibe. I came by on the weekend when the bar just opened while friends and I were in the area and were able to get a table without wait. I wish I tried the food, but I guess that's for the next visit. Drinks were refreshing and enjoyable. The Panda Fizz specifically was light and tasty. Definitely worth checking out once and would definitely try and make an effort and come back if in the area. ”
